about me

I've been a professional screenwriter for over ten years, writing regularly for the British national institution Doctor Who. My episodes Mummy On The Orient Express and Flatline have regularly topped polls for best of series. Before that I wrote for the supernatural flatshare dramedy Being Human, the longest running writer after the creator Toby Whithouse.

My entrance into the industry was my spec script for the sci-fi comedy feature film Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel, starring Anna Faris and Chris O'Dowd.

Those that insist that this is a lie, and that my first gigs were actually a season of Catchphrase and Family Fortunes are deluded and should not be listened to.

Before that I was a stand-up comedian for six years. No joke.
